Meet Our Dentists

Dr. Young Park, DDS, FAGD, FICOI

Since graduating from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, Dr. Park has been practicing in Roanoke, VA. Prior to his decision to become a dentist, he was a mechanical engineer at Samsung Electronics for several years. As mechanical engineering and dentistry have many common aspects, his mechanical engineering background has enabled Dr. Park to meet daily challenges in dentistry with uniquely integrated and creative approaches.

Dr. Park finds great satisfaction and enjoyment in providing excellent care for his patients in all areas of general dentistry and is dedicated to continually learning new techniques in dentistry for his patients' benefit. In furtherance of this goal, Dr. Park has invested in excess of 150 hours yearly in continuing education. As a result of his tenacious pursuit of knowledge and cutting edge techniques, Dr. Park is better able to provide customized state of the art treatment for each of his patients.

Currently, Dr. Park holds active memberships within the American Dental Association (ADA), the Virginia Dental Association (VDA), the Piedmont Dental Society, American Academy of General Dentistry (AGD),  International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI),

Dr. Park is a fellow of American Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) that has been recognized by other general dentists as a leader and exemplifies to other dentists the importance of quality continuing dental education. This fellowship can be awarded to dentists who have completed over 500 hours of continuing education and have passed the fellowship exam by Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Park is also a fellow of International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) and takes many different types of courses to be updated in implant dentistry. 

Dr. Park resides in Botetourt County with his wife, Sun, and two kids, Lynn and Ian. He enjoys hiking, biking, reading Christian books, and travelling with his family. 



Dr. Michelle Kim, DDS

Dr. Kim is originally from North Carolina and attained her Bachelor of  Science degree in Biology from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She attained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry.  After graduating, she practiced in Tennessee and Virginia.  Her treatment philosophy is centered on patient education so that  preventative care and collaborative decisions can be made for their oral health.  She believes that everyone deserves access to proper dental care and has sought opportunities to donate her time and expertise by volunteering and going abroad for mission trips. She has been to Mexico, Nicaragua, and most recently Haiti.  Dr. Kim is a member of American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Virginia Dentistry Association.
