Meet the Staff
Karen O’Meara – Office Manager/ Patient Coordinator
Karen has been in the dental field for over 20 years. Along with running the day to day operations in our office Karen coordinates treatment planning and case presentations to our patients. If there is a problem you are having, be it with insurance or your treatment plan she will be happy to walk you through it until it is resolved. Karen has completed the Practice Management Impalnt Certification Program of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and The Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries and Practice Management. One of Karen’s many passions is cooking. Be it an ordinary day or a festive holiday her cooking is gourmet. Karen lives in Salem with her husband Tom. They have two grown daughters, both married and a grandson.
Cindy Davis, RDH
Cindy has lived in the Roanoke Valley for 20 years. She received her Associates in Applied Sciences in Dental Hygiene from Virginia Western Community College in 2006. Growing up, she knew she wanted to practice dental hygiene after watching her mother work as a dental assistant. She currently resides in Roanoke County with her husband and two boys. In her spare time she enjoys being with her family and friends, reading, baking, photography, working on home projects, and volunteering at her son's elementary school.
Kaitlin Mills, RDH
Kaitlin is a Floyd County native, graduated from Dental Hygiene School in May on 2016 from Virginia Western Community College. She is still currently residing in Floyd County. She enjoys being outside, painting, and spending time with family.
Nikki Burton, Dental Assistant
Nikki has lived in the Roanoke Valley for about 12 years now. She is young and outgoing, she also loves to talk and put a smile on people's faces. Been told she is a great cook and a wonderful listener. In her free time she enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends, and playing with her two cats and dog! Her hobbies include painting, floral design, hiking, swimming, and other crafts. She is good at holding conversations and making sure you have a good visit with our office.
Sidnie Holland, Dental Assistant
Sidnie is a dental assistant who was trained in Roanoke, VA. She received her x-ray certification through Virginia Western Community College. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, crafting, swimming, spending time with her family, and hanging out with her beautiful pug Suzan.
Ashley Schneider, Scheduling Coordinator
Ashley is usally the first friendly face to greet you when you visit our office. She has a background in real estate before deciding to persue a career in the dental field. Ashley lives in Boones Mill and loves farming with her husband. Her hobbies include outdoor activities such as four-wheeling, swimming, beach going, and photography.
Kathy Shockley, Receptionist
Kathy has been a certified dental assistant since 1981. Having knowledge in dental anatomy, procedures and terminology has benefited her in her position as a dental receptionist. This also helpful to our patients in their understanding of the care they will receive in our office. She knows the importance of good dental hygiene and care. Kathy is a family oriented person, coming from a family of 10. She takes this into her work atmosphere in hopes to make all those she meets feel like part of our family practice. She loves spending time with her family. Enjoys baking, hunting, fishing, crafts, traveling, and horseback riding.
Trina Prillaman, Receptionist
Trina has lived in Franklin County for 42 years. She received her Associates in Applied Science with a major in Administrative Support Technology and a specialization in Medical Secretary from Virginia Western Community College in 1998. She has been in the dental field for over 17 years. Currently, Trina lives in Ferrum with her husband and two girls. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, and working on home projects. Trina is also heavily involved with her church. She teaches Sunday School, actively leading the children's church, and volunteering monthly at the Food Pantry and Clothes Closet.
